Villa Katwe is located on the top of a hill in a part of Masaka called Katwe. We are situated about 1,5 km from Masaka Centre, 130 km from Kampala and 138 km from Mbarara. Below we have added detailed information on how to travel from one of these three places to our beautiful Villa.

Directions from...

  1. Take the Kampala-Masaka Road towards Masaka

  2. When arriving at the roundabout entering Masaka take the second left onto Masaka-Mbarara By-pass Road

  3. After 3.5km on the By-pass road, branch off slightly to the left onto a paved road (Alex SSebowa Road), going to Muteesa I Royal University

  4. After 750m, branch off to the left onto a dirt road (Ssomero Road) going up the hill towards the Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Africa and Muteesa I Royal University

  5. After 200m you will take a very slight left up the hill for another 50m and you will see the Villa Katwe logo painted on the main gate straight ahead of you.

Kampala

Masaka

  1. Take the Masaka-Kampala Road towards Masaka.

  2. Take a right turn immediately after Ambiance Discotheque onto Katwe By-pass Road

  3. Continue straight for 600m and take the third left in the roundabout onto Alex Ssebowa Road

  4. Continue for another 270m and take the first right turn onto a dirt road (Ssomero Road) going up the hill towards Muteesa I Royal University

  5. After 200m you will take a very slight left up the hill for another 50m and you will see the Villa Katwe logo painted on the main gate straight ahead of you.

Mbarara

  1. Take the Mbarara-Masaka Road towards Masaka

  2. When arriving at the roundabout entering Masaka take the first left onto Masaka-Mbarara By-pass Road

  3. After 2.9km on the By-pass road, turn very sharply to the right onto a paved road (Alex SSebowa Road), going to Muteesa I Royal University

  4. After 750m, branch off to the left onto a dirt road (Ssomero Road) going up the hill towards the Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Africa and Muteesa I Royal University

  5. After 200m you will take a very slight left up the hill for another 50m and you will see the Villa Katwe logo painted on the main gate straight ahead of you.
